Metrojet is a Hong Kong-based business jet operator dedicated to meeting the needs of our clients by providing a complete range of business aviation services, including aircraft management, maintenance, charter and consultancy services. Metrojet has expanded its footprints to China and The Philippines.

Established in 1995 and headquartered in Hong Kong, Metrojet upholds an uncompromised reputation as part of the Kadoorie Group and a sister company of The Peninsula Hotel Group; as such, utmost service and luxury are in our nature.

Our Group’s involvement with China’s aviation industry began in the 1930’s, as the country’s first air routes began to expand and foreign business interests developed. Airlines used The Peninsula Hotel as their terminal, where services provided were equal to those enjoyed at the airport.

In the 1950’s, the Group diversified into airline catering and provided the first full airline meal services to SAS in 1954, and later Swissair. In 1974, with purchase and registration of Hong Kong’s first private helicopter by our current Chairman, the way was paved for the formation of Heliservices, which was established in 1978 to service the community’s needs. In 1995, Metrojet was founded, making available Hong Kong’s first business jet for charter.

Metrojet has met the stringent “airline” standards required of a commercial air operator. We constantly strive to deliver safety and security metrics above and beyond the standard regulations; we have developed our own Safety Management System (SMS) and become the first business aviation organization gaining SMS certification in Asia in 2009. In April 2012, Metrojet has also been awarded the Flight Safety Foundation Business Aviation Meritorious Service Award 2012, and in 2017, Metrojet has successfully achieved the International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO) Stage 3 certification, further affirming its distinguished efforts in attaining recognised world-class safety standards.

All pilots undergo scheduled recurrent training, including proficiency checks and simulator training at Flight International in the U.S. A multilingual client services team is also available around the clock to make all the necessary bookings and arrangements for you, ensuring flights in Asia and beyond are as efficient and seamless as possible.
