Over the years, Metrojet Limited has consistently worked to support the commitment to social responsibility. Building on that tradition, the Metrojet Engineering Clark (MEC) team organised a relief project for the needy near Clark.
Starting preparations in October 2024, MEC began laying the groundwork for the relief project to assist low-income families and children living in the vicinity of the airfield. On 21 December, 30 dedicated staff brought this plan to life and visited the Aeta community, distributing essential groceries, snacks, and toys to more than 100 families to ensure that the spirit of the festive season reached the vulnerable. Santa Claus made a special appearance, bringing smiles to over 50 children with gifts, music and dancing, together with the MEC team.
What made this initiative even more special was its funding. The entire event was made possible through the generous donations of MEC’s employees, with the company also contributing to the cost. MEC aims to deepen its connection with the Clark community and walks the talk to continue its mission of uplifting those in need, like the programme slogan: Small Acts, Big Impact!
