Assistant Planning Officer

The role is responsible for the completion of regional MSO estimates and work pack builds in line with company standards and NAA of relevant governing authority. This will cover both the managed fleet and 3rd party maintenance events. Produce performance dashboards and data to support business objectives. Assist the Operations Manager in continuous improvement activities, to support standardisation and optimisation of the team, its processes and systems. To maintenance constant communication within the MRO to ensure correct and accurate workload.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Work with the Operations Manager and local GM to ensure the timely response to customer enquiries;
    • Responsible for providing estimates in line with customer maintenance service requests, including Base, Line, drop in and AOG using the company business operating system;
    • Develop work packs in line with MRO license regulatory requirements for Maintenance use;
    • Responsible for the coordination of scheduled maintenance activity, including but not limited to special tooling, third party services, etc.;
    • Assist the team on planning and controlling the departmental budget to identify excessive spending, suggest cost savings and ensure that maintenance procedures are performed according to the budget;
    • Develop and provide regular and ad-hoc reports requested by the department guaranteeing accurate data and quality to enable managers to take appropriate actions;
    • Ensure Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins are correctly provided for and fully understood to embody in accordance with established procedures;
    • Record of completed tasks cards onto the company business operating system;
    • Any task that is deemed required by the Department Manager.

    Job Requirements:

    • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or relevant disciplines.
    • Experience in the Aviation industry, preferable on the Business or private aviation experience within the planning function.
    • Liaison experience with the HKCAD, FAA, EASA or other aviation industry agents is prefered
    • Exposure of manufacturers SB’s, AD, Mandatory requirements is prefered.
    • Background exposure with both domestic and international vendors.
    • Working knowledge of inspection procedures, methods, equipment and accepted industry standards.
    • Use of Microsoft Office tools, especially project and excel.
    • Knowledge of Human Factors and Lean Six Sigma White Belt Certified (Minimum).

    Director Finance

    Develop, implement and maintain Company financial plans and policies, assist senior management and Board on long term planning and strategic growth of the Company.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Lead and supervise the accounting and finance team to perform financial activities: including accounting, financial analysis and reporting, audit, tax, credit and collections
    • Develop, evaluate and maintain accounting, financial, and reporting policies and controls, and ensure compliance with local regulations, taxes, audit and statutory reporting requirements
    • Prepare annual budgets, review budget proposals for management decisions
    • Provide insight and direction to credit policies and receivable management
    • Analyze and make recommendations on modifications to existing financial programs and systems to enhance overall profitability
    • Provide advice to the senior management and Board regarding financial related matters: profit leaks, margin enhancement, business development opportunities
    • Manage relationships and liaise with external parties, including banks, insurers, related government departments, commercial bureau and external auditors
    • Adhere to the Company Management Authority Manual (“CMAM”) and/or any corporate governance as set up by the Company
    • Direct and supervise company IT function, to ensure IT security, storage, disaster planning are sufficiently maintained; IT operations running smoothly, and other approved IT projects implemented on time and on budget
    • Perform any other duties as deem necessary by the CEO

    Job Requirements:

    • Qualified accountant, minimum 10 years’ multinational environment experience
    • Prior working experience of the Hong Kong or Asia market, ideally with well-established industry network and reputation in aviation
    • Unblemished record regarding ethical integrity
    • Excellent management skills, strong business acumen and financial literacy
    • Strong communication/presentation skills, fluency in written and spoken English
    • Strong interpersonal/analytical skills, ability to work under pressure/deadlines
    • Passionate management style and a strong desire to lead and perform
    • Team player with the ability to impact and influence at senior levels
    • Strategic thinker, able to make full contribution at Executive team level to the ongoing development of the business

    GULFSTREAM G650 RATED LEAD CAPTAIN / CAPTAIN – HONG KONG BASED

    Minimum Requirements

    • Minimum 5,000 hours total time
    • Current Gulfstream G650 type rating
    • Holder of a valid FAA ATP license
    • Intensive flying experience in China and Asia is preferred
