METROJET ENGINEERING CLARK EXTENDS MAINTENANCE CAPABILITY TO 6C/72-MONTH CHECK FOR GULFSTREAM G350 AIRCRAFT

Metrojet Limited is pleased to announce its Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) station in Clark, the Philippines – Metrojet Engineering Clark (MEC) – has obtained the approval from the Civil Aviation Authority of the Cayman Islands (CAACI) in June 2023 to add the Gulfstream G350 aircraft type into its maintenance capability up to 6C/72-month checks.

The work scope extension requires the station to have at least 2 qualified mechanics, the specific equipment & tooling and the access to the appropriate technical data. A 6C/72-month check on a Gulfstream G350 aircraft is not only a significant check to satisfy the requirements from the aircraft OEM and aviation authorities, but also a practical way to maintain the aircraft airworthy, which helps to prolong its operational cycles and its value.

“Our MEC team are honoured to be recognized by the CAACI, we would continue to invest in our staff and extend the maintenance capability of MEC. It is always our goal to develop a more comprehensive MRO Facility in the Asia Pacific region for our clients,” said Mr Sarith Vaikuntan, General Manager of Metrojet Engineering Clark.
