Job Purpose

The primary responsibility of this position is to provide all finance related supports in a way to make sure the smooth and accurate accounting record to achieve objectives being set out by the senior management.

Key Accountabilities:

    • Provide daily accounting support including preparation of client’s invoices, credit notes, cheques, payment and receipts, journal voucher and general ledger
    • Prompt follow up the overdue accounts and assist in collection
    • Prepare accounting reports, including but not limited to aging report, forecast, statistical report and other reports as required by the management
    • Accountable for resolving accounting and operational matters connected with project management and client’s request
    • Assist in month-end and year-end closing & reporting
    • Assist in external audit
    • Recommend any process improvement opportunities for efficiency, control & compliance enhancement
    • Any ad hoc assignments as deemed necessary from direct manager.

    Job Specifications

      • Degree holder or above in Accounting or relevant disciplines
      • Min 2 year of accounting experience in a commercial firm; audit experience is a plus
      • Excellent Excel spreadsheet skills and knowledgeable in SAP is preferable
      • Able to communicate in both spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
      • Mature, independent and able to work with minimum supervision
      • Take initiative to report the progress and proactively suggest ways of improvement

Job Purpose

Exciting headquarter role providing commercial, business development, contracts and project support across Metrojet business functions in Hong Kong, China and abroad.

Key Accountabilities:

    • Acting as the assistant project manager throughout the project cycle for company projects
    • Drive business development by designing, preparing and managing proposals, pitch decks, sales pipelines and sales tools as appropriate
    • Conduct market research, analyze data and translate into digestible reports and insights for both internal and external stakeholders
    • Support Commercial Manager in preparing, reviewing and negotiating agreements and other legal documents, including Aircraft Management Agreements, Maintenance Agreements and property leases
    • Assist Commercial Manager in managing, negotiating and resolving commercial issues and disputes
    • Responsible for client screening process by performing KYC checks and ensure company activities strictly comply with ethical and internal standards
    • Coordinate with internal and external parties to manage any onshore or offshore entities as required by the Company
    • Ad hoc tasks as required

    Job Specifications

      • Bachelor’s degree in business management, law, corporate governance, accounting, marketing or related discipline
      • 2 years + working experience preferred
      • Excellent command of spoken and written Chinese and English
      • Strong data analysis, communication, presentation and reporting skills
      • A team player with the ability to work with different cultures and business units
      • Advanced computer literacy, especially MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

This role is to support the Finance Analyst in preparing monthly management reports, performing analyses on company’s financial performance, presenting financial information to our business units for decision making purposes and preparing company’s annual budget.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Providing support in monthly management reports preparation in an accurate manner and on time delivery
  • Providing support to Finance Analyst in tasks such as data entry, preparing analysis reports and presentations
  • Assist and participate in annual budget exercise and forecast
  • Providing support to Finance Analyst in conducting finance related process review, providing recommendations and follow up on implementations with an aim to achieve work efficiency and accuracy
  • Support annual audit project
  • Provide support in policies and procedures review and improvement project
  • Ad hoc assignments and as and when assigned by Finance Analyst

 

Job Specifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or relevant degree
    • At least 3 years or above working experience in auditing or relevant fields
    • Aviation industry knowledge is a plus
    • Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
    • Hands-on experience with accounting software like SAP Business One
    • Advanced MS Excel skills, strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
    • Experience with general ledger and consolidation functions
    • Mature, independent, and able to work with minimum supervision
    • Committed to work and good team player
    • Commercial acumen with strong experience in process improvement and project management
    • Strategic mindset and strong influencing skills to senior management team
    • Able to communicate in both spoken and written English

    Additional Qualities Desired:

    • Working toward a professional accounting (CPA/ACCA/CIMA) designation
