HONG KONG

Job Purpose

The role is responsible for safety, regulatory compliance, and operational performance of all Part 145 maintenance activities in Hong Kong and Shenzhen airports.

 

Key Accountabilities

  • Conduct line and base maintenance duties, provide departure and arrival support at Hong Kong and Shenzhen airports.
  • Supervise Technician to perform maintenance, preventive maintenance and alterations in accordance with company procedures and quality requirements to guarantee a high level of safety standard.
  • Ensure that certification of maintenance is within the scope of the authorization. Accomplish the assigned work in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that all technical documentations are completed in accordance with Metrojet’ s procedures.
  • Liaise with those departments necessary to complete the tasks.
  • Confirm all the necessary support concerning maintenance related issues.
  • Update aircraft status to Maintenance Supervisors and Customers and notify Maintenance Supervisor /Senior Engineer of any serious defects immediately.
  • Record the maintenance activities using computerised maintenance tracking system.
  • Ensure the working area always neat and tidy.
  • Maintain the company GSE as per manufacturers or in-house requirements.
  • Maintain good team collaboration.
  • Ensure all time bookings are accurate.
  • Raise safety reports on any deficiencies which may have an adverse effect on airworthiness and serviceability of tools / equipment found during daily operation.
  • Assist Maintenance Manager, and support Quality Assurance to investigate and report on aircraft incidents.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Flexible to work beyond regular working hours subject to operational needs.
  • Able to support AOG maintenance event in outstation with valid visa.
  • Any ad hoc assignments as deemed necessary by management.

 

Job Specifications

 Education:

  • Diploma or above in Engineering or relevant disciplines
  • Valid FAA A&P license and/or HKAR-66 B1.1 license / HKAR-66 B2* / relevant basic license

 

Experience:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience being a licensed engineer

Job Purpose

This position is responsible for maintaining HKMRO Logistics Operations, which includes but is not limited to stocking functional materials, tools and supplies, inventory control and records, and related duties as required.

The role is responsible for creating value and mitigating risk within the business’s strategies through effective sourcing and efficient purchasing of direct and indirect goods and services. This role requires the highest compliance and integrity standards per MRO and the company’s policies and procedures.

 

Key Accountabilities

  • Responsible for receiving, shipping and purchasing of functional materials, tools and supplies.
  • Rotate stock monitors parts expiry, core return and tools calibration reports, and arrange for disposal of expired, surplus stock or outside servicing.
  • Responsible for review Stock Level, and process replacement order.
  • Manage supplier relationships to ensure continuity of goods and services that meet the quality, service and price-performance standards of the company.
  • Maintain and update the list of vendors and their qualifications, delivery times, and potential future development. Adheres to vendor selection and set-up processes.
  • Work closely with finance teams to expedite receiving and payment processes.
  • Verify and approve vendors’ invoice for payment as required.
  • Assist Logistics Supervisor for the daily warehouse activities.
  • Drive lean operations by reducing waste, eliminating redundant/unnecessary work tasks and standardising network work procedures.

Experience:

  • Five years’ relevant experience in MRO procurement and Logistical management is required.

THE PHILIPPINES

Job Purpose

The role is responsible for the support of aircraft maintenance activities in compliance with company standards.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Assist with inspect, test, troubleshoot and service the aircraft avionics, electrical and electronic equipment during daily operation (for Avionics Technician)
  • Assist with inspect, test, troubleshoot and service the aircraft mechanical work during daily operation (for Airframe Technician)
  • Assist with other maintenance disciplines as needed.
  • Set up and operate ground support and test equipment.
  • Ensure all maintenance tasks assigned are carried out in a timely manner and under appropriate procedure.
  • Liaise with those departments necessary to complete the tasks.
  • Document work performed on the aircraft into the computerized system.
  • Ensure the working area always maintains neat and tidy condition.
  • Maintain good team collaborate.
  • Ensure all time bookings are accurate.
  • Assist Maintenance Supervisor, and support Quality Assurance to investigate and report on aircraft incidents and raise safety report as required.
  • Raise safety reports on any deficiencies which may have an adverse effect on airworthiness and serviceability of tools / equipment found.
  • Perform any other duties as deemed necessary by the Manager, Aircraft Maintenance
